You are Sensitive.
Does it matter what we EXPOSE ourselves too...you betcha 💪
Apart from the obvious reasons for this i.e. being distracted, why is it so important that we are mindful of what we are exposing ourselves to???
Because...🐒
You are a sensitive being!!
Obviously we all know how fast the pace of life is these days, the list of endless requests and tasks in our "MENTAL INBOX" and how that's enough to manage in its own right!!
I don't want to add to your list of concerns, nor my own 😜, but the trouble is that when we are as busy as we all are we LOOSE sight of just how sensitive our being is.
When your feeling fried and overwhelmed 😴 , it's a lot harder to notice the subtle piling on of rubbish into your energy field.
Add to the mix all the collective shifts that are going on at the moment, and before you know it your up shit creek without a paddle, without a compass and without even the smallest amount of spare time to even put the kettle on!
Ya know that glazed eyed, hair on all ends look that seems to be commonplace these days??
Where you reach the end of the day and you welcome the escape of sleep, you don't wanna be touched or cuddled as you just want to be left alone...well that's what I'm talking about here!
This causes us anxiety in one way or another because we don't want to be closed off to the world...but when the time comes for the connection to the world, in the street or with your loved ones at home, we just don't know how to be open and relaxed because we are just so FULL up!!
This balance is 2 fold:
💥Being aware of what your taking on board, what your absorbing and what your giving your attention too.
💥Finding practical ways to "let go" of energies, emotions and rubbish that isn't yours, so you have more room inside to EXPERIENCE what you DO WANT!
This way we don't become full!!!
Let's talk about the first one today...being aware of what we are taking on board.
There is a whole load of information bombarded our way, by 8am in the morning if you've checked your phone you've already taken on board a whole load of information and other people's opinions which may or may not actually resonate with you...
Just like eating a MASSIVE fried breakfast first thing in the morning...
Your going to be DIGESTING that for some time to come...and then filling yourself up again by the time you get to work/do the school run/talk to or meet people later in the morning.
Get my drift???
Your topping up all day long...just chucking more and more stimulus into an already over burdened system.
This isn't just from your phone, but other people's energies, take a walk in town and you'll be tuning to the collective vibe if your not aware of your own vibration.
We all know what it's like when we spend time with a grumpy chops and we come away "feeling low". If your not aware of your own boundaries and how "you FEEL" then your naturally going to tune with what's around you.
Another way to put it is this...
SELF RESPECT ✊
When we take a deeper level of care for ourselves and assert that we are going to look after number one ☝️ this happens...
1. We get to choose in the moment what we take on board and what we don't.
2. We can be more effective in helping people and ourselves as we are subtly aware of when we can make a powerful difference and help change the flow and brighten the day.
Trust me...
If you feel full right now, you NEED to take time for you.
BE HONEST...write down where your attention goes during a day, write down where the
"thought juice" that your giving out is actually going.
It will reveal too you what you value and what you don't. Seeing something written down in black and white gives you the chance to choose weather you want to continue with that being part of your reality...OR NOT!!!
And as for letting that energy drop out of you 🌱
There are a million different ways

Some of my favourites are grounding (putting your bare feet on the earth), meditating, taking a bath, practising gratitude and compassion, shouting at the top of my voice letting it all out and tbh the list goes on...
But here's the biggest tip I could give you...just say to yourself right now...
"I am open to letting go of what no longer serves me"
And again...TRUST that at some point you'll find the opportunity to do just that!!
And if that feels like a bit of stretch for you...as in...your mind is going "it can't possibly be that simple!!"
